  • August 18, 2020 - 17:00
  • Online

Japan marked the 75th Anniversary of the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The only country to have become the victim of nuclear bombing has a perspective of its own on nuclear issues. Since August 1945, the number of countries that have gone nuclear has increased. Today there are 5 nuclear weapons powers in Asia and 4 non-resident nuclear weapon powers have the military presence of some sort in Asia. KIIPS has invited a scholar from Japan to discuss the nuclear issues in the Indo-Pacific. All are invited to join the distinguished lecture on 18 August 2020.
